For anyone that runs a web business, marketing and web traffic is always a challenge. In fact, many people become stuck on search engine optimization and will spend days or even months thinking that is the only key to get floods of web traffic.
While in fact, sometimes if you take a step back and ask yourself “where else can I get my business in front of my target customer?”.
Wishpot, a rather new dynamic website, is a perfect place for those web businesses that focus on baby gifts or wedding gifts. And of course…. it’s free web business marketing!
I haven’t had much time this month to fully utilize this resource, however it is getting closer to the top of my to do list.
Here are a few keys points to Wishpot:
- Wishpot is a gift registery that allows users to add items from ANY website to their “wanted” list
- You can create a profile and become a Wishpot Publisher by surfing the web and adding your favorites (i.e. stuff from your store) to your profile
- It has a social network component, you build your profile and make friends
- You can record and track birthdays
- You can import and integrate your AMAZON wish list!
Like I said, the most impressive part of this site is how simple it is!

2. You drag a bookmark to your toolbar
3. You visit your favorite sites and add them with your button
4. Visit Wishpot and get a “share widget”
5. Post it on your Facebook page with the easy Facebook Application!
