Getting Started

This is very cool and I’m so excited to share and help spread the word!

make money blogging

I actually just had a great conversation this weekend with the owner of HappyPandaandbaby.com about how to use Virtual Parties and Gift Guides to help build your brand awareness and website traffic. You can check out her upcoming Cyber Baby Shower to see a great example of what I’m talking about.

While I consider myself savvy with internet marketing, website traffic and ranking well in the search engines, I’ll be the first one to say that I am NOT savvy at the blogging virtual parties. Although, I do love participating in them and 5MinutesForMom has some great ones also!

My biggest surprise? Is that most bloggers and small business owners plan out all their virtual parties for the year and if done correctly can bring you some great results and help build your community.

The subject of PageRank and Alexa rank also came up in being a determining factor since these events are also meant to be used for gaining traffic and increasing links.

Today it was announced that my good friend, Katja Presnal of SkimbacoLifestyle.com, is going to be offering a class in conjunction with Dates To Diapers owner Christine to bring you a tele-class this Thursday, November 13th to help you learn more about this resource.

We will be sharing all our best tricks and tips on how we make money with holiday guides, as well as our take on affiliate programs, and promoting your gift guide. We will also be hosting a Virtual Holiday Gift Guide Party, on Cyber Monday, when all the participants of the tele class will be hosting a giveaway to promote the launch of all new Holiday Gift Guides!

WOW! Thanks so much. It was a great conversation and I learned a great deal from you. If you noticed 5M4M was the first shower that I hosted. The twins were pregnant at the same time. We had a lot of fun and I also ran behind the scenes coordinating their ultimate blog party! I work with them any chance I get.

Thanks for sharing this great info! Pamela, Katja, and Christine are all great ladies & very knowledgeable and creative. I’m lucky to know them. Anything any of them are behind has got to be good. :)
